Rose Collins
Rose’s journey as a painter started 21 years ago when she retired from her 30-year career as a therapist in the field of Psychology.. When she relocated to Tucson, Arizona from New York in 1998 she picked up a paintbrush and took a leap of faith into the unknown. That began a soul-searching decade of self-discovery. Her journey led her to fulfill a childhood yearning for all things “western” and unlocked the excitement of seeing it all come to life as she painted.
Her style is easily recognized and her work has been promoted in the publications Southwest Artist, Western Art Collection, and Art of the West. Rose has received invitations to exhibit in the National Heritage Cowboy Museum, Mountain Oyster Western Art Show and Cowgirl Up. She presently is represented by Jane Hamilton Fine Art Gallery in Tucson, Arizona and of course Western Skies Fine Art in Afton, Wyoming.
